“Legislature overrode vetoes of two bills that significantly amend the medical marijuana laws in Maine,” (Maine.gov.)

Early in July, Governor LePage had vetoed a bill that would ease access to medical marijuana. But on July 7, state legislators overrode his veto, passing a significant state law that broadens access and choice for patients. Very exciting for those seeking relief for conditions that can be eased with medical marijuana. In addition, the sweeping reform loosens regulations for legal businesses, allowing us to expand our operations. The legislation will become law in the fall of 2018.
